1. Citizens- The Cult
This is a rock song and it is from the album 'Born Into This.' The song has commercial appeal and a structure that would be good to base a video around. The Cult is a band that have a sound that is only recognisable to the bands stronger fanbase. The concept I had was to do something about the subject of super heroes. The video would deal with the stage of every superhero's story, the becoming of a hero.
2. White Widow- Torque Armada
This is a punk song and it from the EP 'New Trend Geek Scene.' One of the advantages of usinmg this song is that there is less risk of having it removed for copyright infringement, as it is by an unsigned band. The concept I have for this song is a more basic one as it is of a band playing to a small audience playing from a garage. I would like to have it be humourous and show it using a variety of different types of shots.
3. I'll Get Even- Megadeth
A metal song from the album 'Countdown to Extinction.' Megadeth is a recognisable band to fans of metal but the song isn't particularly well known as it is a song from one of their less popular albums, it was not released as a single and is not played live at concerts The idea for the video concept is to do a typical 'I'm upset cos I got dumped' video but with a twist. In the video we'll have the band playing in an unknown location, whilst we one man lamenting over the fact that the girl he wants is with another man. We see that he is plotting soemthing, and the asumption is that he is planning revenge against her. It is eventually revealed that revenge is against the man dating the woman he wants.
